Terms of use

Draft. These terms are being checked by a solicitor before Kioo launches. Last updated [DATE].

By using Kioo you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. Kioo is a noticeboard: repairs are agreed between you and the fixer.

  1. Kioo is a noticeboard that puts drivers in touch with people offering repairs. Kioo is not a party to any repair, quote or payment, and does not employ, vet or guarantee any fixer.
  2. Any agreement, price, payment, warranty or dispute is between the driver and the fixer.
  3. Labels describe where a fixer's details came from ("Listed on Google" means the business appears on Google). They are not an endorsement or a check of skills, insurance or qualifications.
  4. Repair descriptions, cost estimates, checks and Ask Kioo answers are produced partly by AI from public data and what users enter. They are guidance only, may be wrong, and are not a diagnosis or an inspection.
  5. Safety-critical repairs (brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, structural) should only be done by someone competent to do them. Drivers are responsible for choosing who does the work.
  6. Fixers are responsible for their own qualifications, insurance, tax, disposal of waste parts, and following the law.
  7. You must not post false, abusive or unlawful content or misuse anyone's contact details. Kioo may remove content and suspend accounts.
  8. Ratings must reflect a real job and be honest.
  9. Tokens: everyone gets free tokens each day; bought tokens don't expire. [Refunds and pricing to be confirmed.]
  10. Kioo's liability is limited to the extent the law allows; nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
  11. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
